News Release: Night Prowler Carries the Torch For AC/DC Fans With Tribute Concert in Cleveland on March 26

This was issued to Cleveland area media earlier today.

(CLEVELAND, Ohio – March 21, 2016) – The AC/DC concert scheduled for March 26 in Cleveland may be postponed. But that’s not stopping AC/DC Tribute Night Prowler from giving fans of the band a reason to rock out.

Night Prowler will perform an AC/DC tribute show at Wilbert’s Food & Music, 812 Huron Rd E., in downtown Cleveland Saturday night at 9:30 p.m. and is inviting fans everywhere to join them.

“We were all really disappointed when AC/DC postponed their concert,” said Night Prowler’s lead guitarist, Jay Albert. “We were already planning to do an after-concert party at Wilbert’s on March 26.

“So when the AC/DC show was canceled, we figured why not lengthen our set and do a full concert? Let’s give people some real rock ‘n’ roll and a great reason to come downtown.”

Wilbert’s owner Michael Miller was excited about the idea of a full-length concert hosted at his venue.

“We’re on for Saturday with the number one AC/DC tribute band in Ohio, Night Prowler,” Miller said. “We can’t wait. It’s going to be rocking!”

Albert performs in full schoolboy attire as Night Prowler’s version of legendary guitarist Angus Young. He and the rest of the band will be in costume Saturday night, rocking out a set of tunes spanning the entirety of AC/DC’s 40-year catalog. The show will be complemented with prop cannons, smoke machines and the signature instruments used by the real AC/DC – Gibson SG and Gretsch guitars and Marshall amplifiers turned up as far as they go.

The audience can count on hearing an authentic-sounding slew of AC/DC hits like Back in Black, Highway to Hell and Thunderstruck, as well as some rarely-heard classic songs from the pre-1980 era of AC/DC's original vocalist, Bon Scott.

The concert at Wilbert’s, which is located near Gateway Plaza, begins at 9:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come earlier, if possible, to make sure they get a seat – although it’s unlikely they’ll remain in their chairs once the band starts rocking. Facebook users can RSVP for the show here
